Meeting with Financial Institutions on Credit Reporting
The Financial Institutions Association of Bhutan (FIAB) in collaboration with Credit Information Bureau of Bhutan (CIB) successfully conducted a consultative meeting with the Credit and IT Officers of the financial institutions on 26th August 2026 to discuss key issues related to credit information reporting and the overall improvement of data quality.
The workshop provided a platform for CIB and financial institutions to exchange views on challenges encountered in data submission, identify areas for improvement and promote greater accuracy, completeness and timelines of credit information. The consultative meeting concluded with a shared commitment to improve data quality and reporting practices through continued collaboration, timely communication and greater adherence to established reporting requirements.
