FIAB Annual Rimdro
The Financial Institutions Association of Bhutan (FIAB) convened a sacred recitation of the Kanjur at Simtokha Dzong on the auspicious 15th day of the Bhutanese calendar, corresponding to April 1, 2026. The ceremony was held to invoke blessings for the well-being of FIAB member financial service providers and their employees, as well as for the peace, prosperity, and harmony of the nation, while removing obstacles.
The event was attended by Chief Executive Officers and representatives of FIAB’s member institutions, along with officials from the FIAB Secretariat. The ceremony featured traditional rituals, the recitation of the Kanjur, and the offering of a thousand butter lamps, acts believed to generate merit, purify negativities, and bring about peace and success.
