FIAB Joint Task Force Workshop
The Financial Institutions Association of Bhutan (FIAB) successfully conducted a five-day Joint Task Force Workshop on the Review of Fees and Charges on Payment Channels and Related Matters from 20th to 24th July 2026 at Metta Resort and Spa, Paro.
The workshop brought together representatives from FIAB member Banks to undertake a comprehensive review of the existing fees and charges applicable to payment channels and related services, in line with the Royal Monetary Authority’s (RMA) request.
Throughout the workshop, the Joint Task Force members reviewed the RMA Directives on Fees and Charges issued in 2011 and 2020, which govern the fees and charges applicable to various payment channels and deliberated on the operational, technical, regulatory, and customer impact aspects of the existing fee structure.
FIAB extends its sincere appreciation to all Joint Task Force members for their active participation, valuable contributions, and collaborative efforts throughout the workshop.
